Analysis & Consulting
Before we begin the update, we assess your current setup: Which TYPO3 version is in use? Which extensions are installed and how compatible are they? Are there any customizations that need to be taken into account?
Update Implementation
We perform the update in a staging environment, thoroughly test all functionalities, and only switch to the live system after successful approval. A full backup secures your data before any changes are made.
Extension Updates
In addition to the TYPO3 core, we update all installed extensions to compatible versions. If certain extensions are no longer maintained, we recommend proven alternatives.
Quality Assurance & Acceptance
After the update, we test all relevant areas of your website, including pages, forms, interfaces, and layouts – on both desktop and mobile devices. Only when everything works perfectly do we consider the project complete
TYPO3 v14 – The Next Major Release Is Coming
On April 21, 2026, the LTS release of TYPO3 v14 will be published – and it is far more than a typical update. With the official release, TYPO3 enters a new era that ensures long-term competitiveness, simplifies processes, and makes digital platforms more scalable.
Modernized Backend
TYPO3 v14 introduces a redesigned backend interface with clearer menu items and a more intuitive navigation structure. Renamed modules provide better orientation for editors and new users.
Improved Translation Workflow
A new translation assistant supports editors in multilingual work by guiding them step by step through the process and clearly showing which content has already been translated.
Content Blocks & Standardization
New content blocks enable standardized, reusable content components, including a graphical configuration interface. For editors, this means clearly defined building blocks tailored to the design and requirements.
AI Integration
With TYPO3 v14, the CMS lays the technical foundation for future AI-powered features directly in the core – enabling structured integration of external AI services without relying on custom-built solutions.
Long-Term Planning Security
Regular support runs until the end of 2027, with security updates available until June 2029 and optional extended support until 2033. Planning the upgrade now means investing in a stable foundation for the years ahead.

TYPO3 Version 14
TYPO3 version 14 is expected to be released on April 21, 2026. Free security updates (LTS = Long Term Support) will be available until June 30, 2029. Paid ELTS versions will be offered at least until January 30, 2032.
10/2024 to 12/2030
TYPO3 13.4.27 LTS
TYPO3 Version 13
TYPO3 version 13 is currently in the so-called ‘Regular Maintenance’ phase. Free maintenance and security releases will be provided until December 31, 2027. After that, paid ELTS versions are expected to be available until December 31, 2030.
When should you upgrade?
If you are currently running version 12 or older, you should upgrade soon – regular support has already expired. For TYPO3 v12, support ends in April 2026. For new projects and anyone planning for the long term, TYPO3 v14 LTS is the clear choice.
